A boy, 12, is among the fatalities.
Quote from Filashkin: "Tomorrow, Ukraine will mark the Day of Remembrance of Children who have been killed in the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine – and today, another name has been added to this tragic list."
Update: Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office has provided more details.
The investigation has found that Russian forces struck Mykhailivka in Novohrodivka hromada at 11:20 on 3 June 2024, likely dropping a UMPB D-30SN bomb on civilians. A woman, 84, has been killed in the attack.
The Russians targeted the settlement again at 12:40. This time, they used Smerch multiple-launch rocket systems. A Smerch projectile hit the territory of a residential area, claiming the life of a 12-year-old boy and leaving his 43-year-old mother injured.
Several households in the village have been damaged.
