Hryntsevych was a military paramedic. He defended Azovstal Iron and Steel Works and was the youngest of the captured Azov Regiment soldiers. He died on 6 May 2024.
Recently, the security officer of the Ukrainian national team announced that UEFA had banned entry to the stadium with photos of the fallen heroes.
The match against the Belgians started at 19:00 Kyiv time. A victory over Belgium will guarantee the Ukrainian team a place in the Euro 2024 play-offs, while any other result will make them hope for a favourable outcome in the parallel match between Slovakia and Romania.
