Zelenskyy orders simplified issue of documents for destroyed housing in contact line areas

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has ordered that local authorities develop a simplified procedure for issuing documents certifying the destruction of residential property in contact line areas.

Details: Zelenskyy ordered this during his work trip to Donetsk Oblast. 

The Head of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, said that work was underway to restore water supply to the settlement of Pokrovsk and evacuate people from the affected areas.

Filashkin also spoke about the construction of defence lines. The third line of fortifications, which is being built by civilians, is 90% complete. 

He also noted that the oblast authorities are assisting the military in construction of the second line of defences. 

Background:

• Ukraine has settled the issue of tax invoices in the contact line areas.
• The problem was that the regional offices of the State Tax Service blocked tax invoices of business entities from the contact line areas because they did not have certificates of mine clearance.
