Ukraine's General Staff commends 47th Separate Brigade for skillfully repelling Russian attacks
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has separately commended the soldiers of the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade Magura, who bravely hold their positions, skillfully repel Russian attacks and effectively use firepower against Russian personnel and equipment, inflicting significant losses on the Russians.

Quote: "Since the beginning of the day, 123 combat clashes have occurred. [Ukraine's] Air Force and Rocket Forces and Artillery have struck 10 clusters of Russian personnel and 2 command posts belonging to the enemy.
The enemy had launched 43 airstrikes, using 60 guided bombs and 368 attacks by kamikaze drones. The enemy also fired over 2,700 times on the positions of our troops and populated areas using tubed and rocket artillery, mortars, small arms and armoured vehicles."
Details: On the Kharkiv front, the Russians, supported by aircraft, attacked near the settlements of Hlyboke, Vovchansk and Tykhe eight times. Ukraine’s defence forces successfully repelled five Russian assaults and three more combat clashes are ongoing.
On the Kupiansk front, the Russians tried to push Ukrainian units out of their positions near the settlements of Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane, Stelmakhivka and Andriivka 10 times. Nine Russian attacks were successfully repelled. A tense situation remains near Stepova Novoselivka, where fighting is ongoing.
On the Lyman front, the Russias tried to advance near the settlements of Kopanky, Hrekivka, Makiivka, Nevske and Serebrianka Forest 15 times. Ukrainian defenders repelled 12 Russian attacks, but fighting continues. Measures are being taken to prevent the Russians from advancing deeper into Ukrainian territory.
On the Siversk front, the situation has not changed significantly. Since the beginning of the day, the Russians conducted 13 unsuccessful assaults near the settlements of Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne and Vyimka. Ukraine’s defence forces control the situation.
Nine Russian attempts to approach Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske and Andriivka on the Kramatorsk front were unsuccessful. Meanwhile, the Russians persist in their intentions to advance near Chasiv Yar, where fighting is ongoing. Ukraine’s defence forces control the situation.
On the Toretsk front, the situation has not changed significantly and remains tense. The Russians, supported by aircraft, attacked near the settlements of Toretsk, Pivnichne and New-York 11 times. Ukraine’s defence forces repelled all assault actions. Measures are being taken to strengthen the resilience of the defence.
The intensity of fighting remains high on the Pokrovsk front. The number of combat clashes increased to 42. The Russians continue to pressure the defensive lines of the Ukrainians near the settlements of Yevhenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Novoselivka Persha and Yasnobrodivka. Ukrainian soldiers repelled 35 Russian attacks. Fighting continues near Novooleksandrivka and Sokil.
Early reports indicate that the Russians have lost 271 personnel killed and injured. In addition, one tank, three armoured combat vehicles, two guns and two vehicles were destroyed. The losses are being confirmed.
On the Kurakhove front, six combat clashes have occurred since the beginning of the day. Two Russian assaults near the settlements of Heorhiivka and Kostiantynivka were unsuccessful. Meanwhile, the Russians are active near Krasnohorivka, where fighting is ongoing.
On the Vremivka and Orikhiv fronts, the situation has not changed. Russian attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Urozhaine, Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne were unsuccessful. No positions or territories were lost.
On the Prydniprovske front, four Russian assaults were unsuccessful. The situation is under control.
There were no significant changes in the situation on the remaining fronts.
