Zelenskyy will announce new ideas next month to achieve peace in Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that pressure on Russia continues to increase within the framework of the Peace Summit to bring the war in Ukraine to a just end.

Quote: "After the Peace Summit, we now have the eighth participant who signed the Joint Communiqué, and we are only increasing our pressure on Russia for the sake of a fair end to this war. And we are preparing working groups. As early as July, we will have new specifics aimed at achieving peace."

Details: The president also noted that the official start of EU membership negotiations was a historic result. He promised that Ukraine would definitely do everything that is needed to go through each chapter of relations with the EU and create an accession agreement.

Zelenskyy also mentioned the latest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court against former Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu and former Chief of the Russian General Staff Valery Gerasimov.

Quote: "There are new warrants from the International Criminal Court for Russian murderers. Shoigu, Gerasimov, your path to The Hague is open. There is also a decision from the European Court of Human Rights on Russia's responsibility for everything they did in our Crimea against people and against the law. The occupier will be held accountable for that."
