Zelenskyy approves delegation for EU accession talks. Who will take part?
On 21 June, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree approving the membership of the delegation that will represent Ukraine in its accession negotiations with the European Union.

Details: The delegation will be led by Olha Stefanishyna, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
It will also include Andrii Yermak, Head of the President's Office, and his deputies Iryna Mudra and Ihor Zhovkva; Maria Marchenko, Deputy Head of the Department for European Integration of the President's Office; Oleksandr Korniienko, First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament); Taras Kachka, Trade Representative of Ukraine; Yevhen Perebyinis, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Vsevolod Chentsov, Ambassador of Ukraine to the EU.
The decree also mentions the deputies and first deputies of all Ukraine’s ministries. The only minister is Ruslan Strilets, Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources.
The other members of the delegation are Oleksandr Ilkov, Director General of the Government Office for the Coordination of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration; Ihor Verner, Head of the State Statistics Service; Pavlo Kyrylenko, Head of the Antimonopoly Committee; Serhii Nikolaichuk, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank; and Maksym Libanov, member of the National Securities Commission.
Zelenskyy's decree also governs the approval of directives for the negotiations with the EU and directs the government to set up working groups to prepare Ukraine's negotiating positions and approve their members.
On the afternoon of 21 June, the EU Council approved Ukraine and Moldova's negotiating frameworks and the intergovernmental conferences that will officially open the accession negotiations on 25 June.
Moldova has also chosen its lead negotiator for EU membership, and President Maia Sandu has signed a decree to initiate the talks.
