The Russian service of Radio Liberty has released satellite images showing the consequences of a Ukrainian drone strike on an oil depot in the settlement of Enem, Republic of Adygea, Russian Federation.

Details: The pictures indicate that at least one building was destroyed, while the hangar next to it sustained damage. Radio Liberty stated that there was no impact on the fuel tanks themselves.

Background:

  • On the night of 19-20 June, units of Ukraine’s Armed Forces and Security Service of Ukraine struck a fuel and lubricants depot of Tambovnafteprodukt, Tambov Oblast, and a petroleum base of LLC LUKOIL-Yugnefteprodukt in the settlement of Enem. 
  • At least five explosions were recorded in the area of the Enemskaya oil depot, followed by a fire.
