Details: Commenting on China's absence from the Peace Summit in Switzerland, Kuleba said he believed that a decisive factor for China in making this decision was Ukraine's principled position that Russia should not be present at the summit, as Kyiv views it would render the summit ineffective.
Quote: "We know that Beijing is studying the Peace Summit results very carefully. They saw how impressive its scale was and I am convinced that we will continue our talks with China on ending the war in Ukraine."
More details: Kuleba noted that China has consistently emphasised that it does not consider Ukraine a hostile state and desires peace, which is a position that can be worked with.
"It's not perfect. We have questions that we are openly voicing. I have discussed this with China's Foreign minister. But we need to work with everyone," he added.
