Russians confiscate civilian cars in occupied Luhansk Oblast

Ukraine’s National Resistance Center has reported that the Russians have begun confiscating civilian vehicles in temporarily occupied Luhansk Oblast, this time focusing on cars.

Quote: "These are passenger cars. The pretext for confiscation can be the slightest violation of the traffic rules. Sometimes even that is not needed to get rid of a car."

Details: The NRC noted that this practice is not a new one for the Russians but that previously, they mostly confiscated specialist vehicles such as excavators, tractors or boats.
