Quote from Putin: "South Korea, the Republic of Korea has nothing to worry about because our military assistance under the treaty we signed only arises if aggression is carried out against one of the signatories. As far as I know, the Republic of Korea is not planning aggression against the DPRK (North Korea)."

"As for the supply of lethal weapons to the combat zone in Ukraine [by South Korea], it would be a very big mistake. I hope it will not happen. If it does, then we too will then make the respective decisions, which South Korea's current leadership is unlikely to be pleased with."

Details: Yonhap reiterated that South Korea's assistance to Ukraine has been limited to providing medical kits, medications, portable mine detectors and protective clothing, because the country was adhering to a policy of not supplying weapons.
