Russia has lost over 530,000 soldiers and more than 14,000 artillery systems since start of full-scale war

Russian forces continue to suffer losses in the war of aggression against Ukraine, losing 1,170 soldiers and 45 artillery systems over the past 24 hours alone.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 20 June 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 530,920 (+1,170) military personnel;
• 7,987 (+3) tanks;
• 15,337 (+18) armoured combat vehicles;
• 14,052 (+45) artillery systems;
• 1,105 (+1) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 859 (+2) air defence systems;
• 359 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
• 326 (+0) helicopters;
• 11,260 (+39) strategic and tactical UAVs;
• 2,298 (+1) cruise missiles;
• 28 (+0) ships and boats;
• 1 (+0) submarines;
• 19,134 (+56) vehicles and tankers;
• 2,357 (+6) special vehicles and other equipment.
