Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held talks with Viola Amherd, President of the Swiss Confederation, before the commencement of the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland.

Details: The leaders of Ukraine and Switzerland did not provide details of the bilateral talks.

A number of attendees of the Global Peace Summit, including Zelenskyy, have arrived at the hotel in the resort town of Bürgenstock, where a plenary session with all representatives will take place on Saturday afternoon.
Background:
- Earlier, it was reported that Switzerland changed the troublesome provisions of the final document of the Peace Summit, which could have had undesirable consequences for Ukraine.
- Meanwhile, media reports indicate that the text of the declaration is still being agreed upon.
