Russia hits Volnovakha district with cluster munitions, killing people – photos

Three civilians have been killed and five others injured as a result of a Russian attack on the Volnovakha district in Donetsk Oblast.

Details: The Russian army attacked the village of Ulakly in the Volnovakha district on 15 June 2024. Investigation materials indicate that the Russians used a Smerch multiple launcher rocket system with cluster munitions. The munitions hit a residential area.

As a result of the attack on the settlement, a 30-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman were killed. Another 32-year-old resident received fatal injuries and died during transportation to hospital.

Five citizens, aged from 27 to 63, received injuries of varying severity while they were near a local store at the time. They were taken to hospital, where they received qualified medical care.

Several houses and cars were damaged in the settlement.
