Russian attacks on Sumy Oblast injure 3 people, including teenagers
The Russians attacked Krasnopilia hromada in Sumy Oblast with artillery on 6 May, injuring a man and two children. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Quote: "The Russians fired on the border areas and settlements of Sumy Oblast 31 times over the past day. [A total of] 169 explosions were recorded. Khotin, Yunakivka, Myropillia, Bilopillia, Vorozhba, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Nova Sloba, Esman, Seredyna-Buda and Znob-Novhorodske hromadas came under fire."
"Krasnopillia hromada: the enemy hit with artillery (17 explosions). A strike from a Lancet UAV (one explosion) and a VOG high-explosive fragmentation grenade drop from a UAV (one explosion) were also recorded. A local resident was injured as a result of the artillery shelling. Two teenagers were also injured (15 and 14 years old)."
Details: The Russians launched attacks from three FPV drones (three explosions) and an airstrike using guided bombs (two explosions) in Vorozhba hromada.
Esman hromada was attacked using mortars (six explosions) and artillery (20 explosions). In addition, a strike from an FPV drone (one explosion) was recorded.
The Russians fired using multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) (four explosions) and artillery (18 explosions) in Seredyna-Buda hromada.
Fire from artillery (13 explosions) and mortar (one explosion) as well as guided bomb airstrikes (three explosions) were recorded in Nova Sloboda hromada.
The Russians used two air-dropped mines and fired artillery (27 explosions) in Myropillia hromada.
Non-guided air-launched rockets from a helicopter (six explosions), fire from MLRS (four explosions) and mortar fire (two explosions) occurred in Khotin hromada.
Mortar attacks (18 explosions) and guided bomb airstrikes (five explosions) were recorded in Bilopillia hromada.
Artillery shelling (seven explosions) took place in Velyka Pysarivka hromada.
The Russians used five air-dropped mines to attack Znob-Novhorodske hromada.
The Russian forces fired artillery (three explosions) in Yunakivka hromada.
