Ukraine's General Staff has reported that Ukrainian forces successfully hit the Kerch ferry crossing (Russian-occupied Crimea) with ATACMS missiles on the night of 29-30 May.

Quote: "Ukraine's Defence Forces struck the Kerch ferry crossing with ATACMS missiles last night, which was actively used by the enemy to supply its troops in temporarily occupied Crimea.

It is worth noting that this facility was protected with 'advanced' Russian air defence systems – Pantsirs, Tors and Triumphs. However, the missiles, which have been in service since the 90s of the last century, successfully penetrated the 'newest' air defence shield of the invaders."

Details: The General Staff reported that two ferries engaged in rail and road transport had suffered considerable damage in the attack. One of them ran aground, blocking the functioning of the entire Kerch ferry.

Updated: Krym.Realii (Crimea.Realities), a Crimea-related project of Radio Liberty, published a photo of a supposedly wrecked railway ferry at the Kerch Sea Fishing Port.

Background: The DIU’s special unit Group 13 destroyed two Russian boats KS-701 Tunets (Tuna) in Crimea and hit two other vessels of the same type on 30 May.
