Donetsk Oblast's Novooleksandrivka suffers most combat actions so far on 30 May – General Staff

Since the beginning of the day the number of combat clashes in the combat zone has risen to 49. The Russians are the most active on the Pokrovsk front in Donetsk Oblast.

Quote: "On the Pokrovsk front the aggressor maintains a high intensity of attacks and has attempted to improve the tactical positions 12 times. The hottest spot of the combat zone is the area in and around the village of Novooleksandrivka in Donetsk Oblast where our troops are repelling three enemy assaults at the moment. The fighting is also ongoing near the settlements of Yevhenivka and Umanske. The occupiers’ attack in the direction of the settlement of Prohres has been stopped."

Details: The General Staff reports that two combat clashes have occurred on the Kharkiv front. One Russian attack was repelled. In another area of the combat zone Ukrainian forces are taking active measures to strike the Russian occupiers.

On the Kupiansk front, the number of attempted assaults of the Russians has increased to three. A combat clash is ongoing near the settlement of Ivanivka.

The Russians are currently active on the Siversk front as well where the Russians conducted seven attacks already. Three Russian assaults are being repelled near the settlement of Rozdolivka, another fight is ongoing near Bilohorivka. Ukrainian troops are repelling Russian attacks and keeping the situation under control, the General Staff says.

On the Kramatorsk front, the number of combat clashes has increased to six. Russian assaults near the settlements of Kalynivka, Klishchiivka and Nove have been repelled. A combat clash is ongoing near the settlement of Andriivka.

On the Kurakhove front Ukrainian forces have repelled as many as eight Russian attacks since the beginning of the day. Two combat clashes are ongoing near Krasnohorivka where the Russians are trying to break through Ukrainian defences.

Two combat clashes are ongoing near the settlement of Urozhaine. In total, the Russians mounted three attacks on the Vremivka front on 30 May.

Three combat clashes are ongoing on the Orikhiv front. A Russian unit is conducting an assault from the settlement of Myrne in the direction of the settlement of Mali Shcherbaky. Another place of confrontation is the village of Novoandriivka. The situation is under control, the Russians have been met with a powerful response.

On the Prydniprovske front the number of combat clashes near the Ukrainian positions on the left (eastern) bank of the Dnipro River has increased to three.

Quote: "On the rest of the fronts there were no significant changes to the situation. Our soldiers are ready to disrupt the plans of the enemy."
