The successful special operation was made possible with the support of the United24 global platform.

In order to down the attack drones on the approach to the Vuzka (Narrow) Bay, the Russian occupiers in Crimea scrambled aircraft 32 times, including Su-27/30/35, MiG-29, Be-12, An-26 planes and Ka-27/29 and Mi-8 helicopters.

The invaders also chaotically used small arms and 30-mm cannons. However, nothing prevented DIU’s Special Forces from successfully performing a combat task.’

Details: Early reports indicate that the attack destroyed two high-speed transport amphibious boats KS-701 Tunets (Tuna).

Updated: Based on the updated data, as a result of DIU's mission, Group 13 special forces destroyed two Russian KC-701 Tunets boats in Crimea and hit two other vessels of the same type.

Therefore, the total losses of the Russian state from the attack by Ukrainian Magura V5 strike marine drones amounted to four high-speed transport and landing boats KS-701 Tunets, DIU says.

The Russian troops used these vessels for logistics and patrolling the waters near the temporarily occupied peninsula, the intelligence officers said.

Background: A source in DIU said that Ukrainian Magura V5 naval drones attacked the Russian vessels near the village of Chornomorske in Yevpatoriia district on the night of 29-30 May.
