Russia loses 1,160 soldiers and 10 tanks over past day

Russia continues to suffer losses in its war of aggression against Ukraine, losing over 1,000 soldiers, 10 tanks and 35 artillery systems over the past 24 hours alone.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 30 May 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• 506,260 (+1,160) military personnel;
• 7,710 (+10) tanks;
• 14,913 (+22) armoured combat vehicles;
• 13,101 (+35) artillery systems;
• 1,088 (+1) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 815 (+0) air defence systems;
• 357 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
• 326 (+0) helicopters;
• 10,532 (+22) strategic and tactical UAVs;
• 2,222 (+0) cruise missiles;
• 27 (+0) ships and boats;
• 1 (+0) submarines;
• 17,849 (+53) vehicles and tankers;
• 2,153 (+11) special vehicles and other equipment.
