Ukrainian forces successfully push Russians back in some areas of Kharkiv front – General Staff
Ukrainian defenders are pushing the Russians back from the line of contact on the Kharkiv front with assault operations, and are succeeding in some areas.

Quote: "The defensive operation of the Defence Forces continues, and our troops are repelling the offensive actions of the Russian occupiers. The situation remains the most difficult on the Kupiansk, Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk and Kharkiv fronts.
Over the last day, 90 combat clashes took place. Ukrainian soldiers are repulsing the enemy, and on some fronts, they are conducting effective assault operations to improve the resilience of the defence and restore positions. The Russian aggressor is trying to use its superiority in manpower, equipment and air support."
Details: The Russians have launched 2 missile strikes using 3 missiles, 33 airstrikes using 47 guided bombs, and 224 attacks by kamikaze drones. They also fired around 2,200 times at the positions of Ukrainian troops with various types of weapons.
On the Kharkiv front, 13 combat clashes occurred over the past day. Ukrainian defenders repelled 10 Russian attacks near Lyptsi, Tykhe and Vovchansk. The battle near Starytsia is ongoing. The situation is under control. In addition, Ukrainian defenders are pushing the Russians back from the frontline with assault operations, and are succeeding in some areas.
Russian forces lost another 100 soldiers in both killed and wounded over the past day. Ukrainian soldiers destroyed five machine guns, two vehicles and one unit of special equipment. Four artillery systems, three vehicles and two units of special equipment were damaged as well. Nine Russian dugouts were also targeted.
On the Kupiansk front, the Russians carried out 17 attempts to drive Ukrainian units from the positions. The battle took place in particular in the vicinity of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Stelmakhivka, Novoiehorivka, Druzheliubivka and Nevske. Currently, fighting continues near Novoiehorivka, Petropavlivka and Ivanivka. The Russians partially succeeded in the latter two areas, and the situation is tense there. The Ukrainian Defence Forces are taking active measures to stabilise the situation.
On the Lyman front, Ukrainian defenders repelled three Russian attacks near the village of Terny and Serebrianka Forest.
On the Siversk front, the number of Russian attacks increased to five in the evening. Ukrainian defenders stopped two Russian assaults in the vicinity of Bilohorivka and Spirne. At the same time, another battle near the village of Spirne continues. The Russians have not succeeded.
On the Kramatorsk front, a total of 13 Russian attempts to approach Chasiv Yar were repelled. Another battle is taking place in the vicinity of Andriivka. The situation is tense but controlled by Ukrainian troops.
On the Pokrovsk front, Russian forces continued their attempts to break through Ukrainian defences near Ocheretyne. They had partial success east of Yevhenivka. A total of 15 combat clashes took place. The defenders are taking active measures to regain their lost ground.
On this front, the total Russian losses over the past day are 240 people, including 58 fatalities and 182 casualties. In addition, three tanks and an electronic warfare station were destroyed. Two tanks, one armoured personnel carrier and four vehicles were damaged.
On the Kurakhove front, Ukraine’s Defence Forces repelled Russian attacks near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, and Paraskoviivka. The situation remains the most tense south of Kostiantynivka and south of Volodymyrivka. Eight combat clashes took place. The situation is under the control of Ukrainian troops.
The situation on the Vremivka front has not changed significantly. Two combat clashes took place, but no positions were lost in the vicinity of Staromaiorske.
On the Orikhiv front, Russian troops made one unsuccessful attempt to advance towards Novodanylivka.
On the Prydniprovske front, at the footholds on the left (east) bank of the Dnipro River, three Russian attempts to push Ukrainian units back in the vicinity of Krynky failed.
On other fronts, the situation has not changed significantly.
Ukrainian defenders are inflicting effective fire damage on the Russians, depleting their forces along the entire line of contact.
