A total of 25 countries took part in the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final this year, although initially 26 were initially supposed to compete for victory, but the contest organisers disqualified the Netherlands on the eve of the final.

Ukraine was represented by alyona alyona & Jerry Heil, who were the second artists to perform. Incidentally, it so happened that countries that have previously performed second have never been winners. Although it was very close, Ukraine did not break this tradition this year either.

Ukraine’s performance was directed by the world-famous director and music video maker Tanu Muiño.

The Ukrainian performers, singers alyona alyona and Jerry Heil, revealed their updated outfits for the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time at the first rehearsal. Their look symbolises a woman's life as it is right now.

Interestingly, the reference for Jerry Heil's image is the Archangel Michael, while alyona alyona's chainmail consists of 10,000 metal rings and weighs over 3 kilograms.
