Russian forces strike civilian infrastructure in Poltava Oblast, one person killed
The Russian troops struck the civilian infrastructure in Poltava hromada, Poltava Oblast, on the evening of 8 April [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.].

Details: At 21:07 the Ukrainian Air Force reported about a missile headed towards Poltava Oblast from the east.
Updated at 22:31: Pronin reported that a person was killed in the attack. Five others were injured, including three children.
Quote: "Unfortunately, one person was killed in the enemy strike on a civilian house. Preliminary information shows that five people were injured, including three children. Another person was rescued from a neighbouring house.
The roof of the building was partially destroyed and a fire broke out. Several neighbouring houses were damaged."
Updated at 22:52: Suspilne, citing its correspondent, reported that a rooming house was hit.
At 23:26, Pronin reported that the number of casualties had risen to 10.
