  • Zaporizhzhia NPP is temporarily occupied by Russian troops, and because of constant Russian attacks, which Moscow accused Ukraine of, it has been cut off from the Ukrainian power grid on several occasions.
  • In May 2023, Grossi presented an updated security plan for the Zaporizhzhia NPP at a meeting of the UN Security Council, but its implementation has not moved forward.
