Zelenskyy discusses aid to Ukraine and security deal preparation with Japanese PM
In a phone call with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his gratitude for financial support from Japan and discussed the preparation of a security agreement.

Details: The president reiterated that Japan has provided Ukraine with financial support of over US$12 billion and announced more assistance for the current year. Zelenskyy also briefed the Japanese PM on the battlefield, particularly on Russian air terror, and emphasised the need to strengthen sanctions pressure on Russia.
"In this context, Japan's imposition of the 23 package of sanctions against Russia for the war in Ukraine is a good example for other international partners."
