Ukraine produces 8 Bohdana self-propelled artillery systems per month – NYT

The New York Times, citing its own sources, has reported that the Ukrainian defence industry is producing 8 Bohdana self-propelled artillery systems (SPAS) per month.

Quote: "Now, Ukraine’s arms industry is building eight of the self-propelled Bohdana artillery systems each month, and although officials will not say how many they’ve made in total, the increased output signals a potential boom in the country’s domestic weapons production."

Details: The newspaper studied Ukrainian government documents, which state that over the past year alone, Ukrainian defence companies have built three times as many armoured vehicles as they produced before the war and increased production of anti-tank missiles fourfold.

The NYT also noted that Ukraine had only one such 155mm SPAS at the time of Russia's full-scale invasion.
