Ukraine's former defence minister Reznikov becomes head of Security and Defence Programmes in Institute of Future

Oleksii Reznikov, the former minister of defence of Ukraine, has become the new director of the Security and Defence Programmes in the Institute of the Future.

Details: Liski published a group photo of himself with Reznikov and Anatolii Amelin, another co-founder of the Security and Defence Programmes.

Quote: "At the moment this is the most topical direction, and we firmly believe that it is Oleksii Reznikov who will be able to give a fresh impetus in the defence and security sector of our country. We are waiting for your ideas, thoughts and cooperation. We promise a new level of analytics, content and discourse."

Background: On 5 September 2023 the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian parliament) dismissed Oleksii Reznikov from the position of minister of defence and replaced him with Rustem Umierov, the former head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, on 6 September.

In January it was revealed that Reznikov had renewed his right to practise law.
