Russia has lost over 450,000 soldiers since start of full-scale war

Russian forces are continuing to suffer losses in Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine, with 830 soldiers, 47 armoured combat vehicles, and 22 tanks lost over the past 24 hours alone.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 10 April 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• 450,080 (+830) military personnel;
• 7,132 (+22) tanks;
• 13,667 (+47) armoured combat vehicles;
• 11,404 (+18) artillery systems;
• 1,040 (+1) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 753 (+0) air defence systems;
• 347 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
• 325 (+0) helicopters;
• 9,070 (+37) strategic and tactical UAVs;
• 2,067 (+2) cruise missiles;
• 26 (+0) ships and boats;
• 1 (+0) submarines;
• 15,248 (+67) vehicles and tankers;
• 1,876 (+8) special vehicles and other equipment.
