Details: Answering the question of whether he thought it was reasonable to rule out sending troops to Ukraine in the current situation, Cameron replied: "Training missions are best carried out outside the country. We have trained 60,000 Ukrainian soldiers in the UK".

Cameron believes that deploying a foreign mission to Ukraine would provide targets for Russia.

"We must avoid creating obvious targets for Putin," the UK foreign secretary added.

Last week, French President Emmanuel Macron noted that a possible deployment of Western troops to Ukraine "cannot be ruled out". He later added that his words, which have caused a stir, had been carefully thought through.

Macron recently reiterated his statement that "we cannot rule out" the possible deployment of Western troops in Ukraine.

In addition, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski believes that the presence of Western troops in Ukraine "is not something unthinkable".
