Ukraine is ready to take further steps that will unblock the border, reopening the way for the export and transit of Ukrainian products.

"We paid special attention to trade and agricultural issues. Ukraine is ready to take further steps, in coordination with neighbouring EU member states and the European Commission, to unblock the border and restore exports and transit of Ukrainian products," Shmyhal said.
In this context, the prime minister noted the progress made by the Coordination Platform on the Export of Ukrainian Agricultural Products in working out joint solutions.
He also expressed his appreciation for the European Commission’s initiatives to extend autonomous trade liberalisation measures and said he hoped the European Parliament would vote in favour of this issue without any amendments.
