German officers' leaked conversation is a Russian attempt to sow discord between us – White House

The White House has called the leaked recording of a conversation between German Air Force officers about the theoretical deployment of Taurus missiles in Ukraine an attempt by Russia to sow discord between Kyiv's Western allies.

Details: Kirby reported that the leaked conversation between the German Air Force officers is "a ridiculous and obvious attempt by the Russians to sow discord and show divisions, to try to create the impression that the West is not united".

As reported, the German Ministry of Defence has initiated an investigation into whether the intercepted conversations of the air force representatives, who, according to Russian propaganda, discussed the blowing up of the Kerch (Crimean) Bridge with Taurus missiles, were made.

The Ministry of Defence later confirmed the interception.

German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius commented on the scandal, noting that it was a hybrid disinformation attack.
