Ukraine and Spain start talks on security agreement
The representatives of Ukraine and Spain started the negotiations about signing a bilateral agreement on cooperation in the defence sector on 4 March.

Details: Ihor Zhovkva, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, negotiated with Spain on behalf of Ukraine.
Quote: "The structure of the future agreement and the schedule of further negotiations have been discussed."
No other details were provided.
Security agreements are signed according to the framework declaration signed between Ukraine and G7 member states at the NATO summit in Vilnius in July 2023.
Over 30 countries have joined this declaration.
As of today Ukraine has signed security agreements with the UK, Germany, France, Denmark, as well as with Italy, Canada and the Netherlands.
