Ukrainian Defence Forces prevent loss of positions in area of responsibility of Tavriia Operational Strategic Group

The Russian army launched three missile strikes and 25 airstrikes in the area of responsibility of the Tavriia Operational Strategic Group, with a total of 53 combat clashes taking place on 3 March. Ukrainian troops prevented any losses of their positions.

Quote: "Over the past day, the enemy carried out 25 airstrikes and three missile strikes, 53 combat clashes, 906 artillery attacks and 93 kamikaze drone attacks in the area of responsibility of the Tavriia Operational Strategic Group.

Our defenders are steadfastly holding the line and conducting active operations in the designated areas. No losses of borders, districts or positions have been allowed."

Details: Tarnavskyi said that total Russian losses over the past day amounted to 426 soldiers (killed and wounded), one tank, five armoured combat vehicles, three artillery systems, one air defence system, nine vehicles and one unit of special equipment.

The Defence Forces of Ukraine neutralised or destroyed 287 UAVs of various types. Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed four more Russian ammunition depots.

Over the last two days, five Russian soldiers were taken prisoner.
