Charleston Open tournament draw: Ukrainian women find out their potential rivals

The draw ceremony for the Charleston Open – WTA 500 tennis tournament has been made.

Ukrainian athletes Elina Svitolina, Daiana Yastremska, Lesia Tsurenko and Anhelina Kalinina have found out the names of their first potential rivals.

The tournament's group stage will last from 3 April to 7 April.

First round:

• Elina Svitolina (17) – Tamara Korpatsch (77) / qualifier / lucky loser
• Dayana Yastremska (33) – Magda Linette (55) / Petra Martic (60)
• Anhelina Kalinina (36) – Caroline Wozniacki (129) / qualifier / lucky loser
• Lesya Tsurenko (40) – Arina Rodionova (98) / Yulia Putintseva (68)

The current champion of the tournament is Ons Jabeur from Tunisia, who defeated Swiss Belinda Bencic in the final game last year.

Background: Names of 5 Ukrainian tennis players have been announced for the grass-court tournament in Madrid, which is supposed to take place from 23 April till 3 May.
