Zelenskyy: Kharkiv faces most severe energy crisis

Restoring electricity supply in Kharkiv is the most challenging of all regions. Thousands of people are seeking assistance at invincibility centres. Sources report damage to generation facilities [invincibility centres are heated premises stocked with food and power banks to assist residents facing hardships due to power cuts – ed.].

Quote from Zelenskyy: "The most challenging situation remains in Kharkiv. Connection to electricity supply for residential consumers continues. The pace is at its maximum currently," Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram.

Details: Meanwhile, the State Emergency Service reported that approximately 16,500 people visited 149 invincibility centres in Kharkiv Oblast within 24 hours.

Ekonomichna Pravda sources say that significant damage to Kharkiv's generation facilities is complicating the electricity supply's restoration.
