Ukraine's Commander-in-Chief appoints new Air Force spokesperson

Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has appointed Major Illia Yevlash, an officer of Ukraine's Ground Forces, as the head of the Air Force Command's Public Relations Service.

Quote: "By the order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major Illia Yevlash shall be appointed as the Head of Public Relations Service of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine."

Details: Illia Yevlash served as a senior public relations officer in Ukraine's Ground Forces Command. He was in charge of the public relations service of the Kyiv Defence Forces Group and the press service of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Group (OSG). Yevlash's last position was the spokesperson for the Eastern OSG.

Previously: On 16 March it was revealed that Colonel Yurii Ihnat had been dismissed as spokesperson for Ukraine's Air Force. He had held this office since 2018.
