Russians strike Sumy Oblast: utility facilities damaged in Konotop

Russian forces targeted civilian infrastructure of Konotop, Sumy Oblast, as well as several settlements in Sumy district, on Monday 18 March; the aftermath of the attack is being established.

Details: At 15:24, the Air Force reported that Russian tactical aircraft were flying along the northern border of Ukraine and launching guided aerial bombs on Sumy.

At 15:29, a missile was reported to be heading towards Konotop.

The Sumy Oblast Military Administration stated that no one was killed in the Russian strikes, based on preliminary information. In Konotop, facilities of a utility company have been damaged. All state services are working on the site.
