Russia loses 970 soldiers and 17 armoured combat vehicles in one day

Russia continues to suffer losses in the war of aggression against Ukraine as it has lost 970 soldiers, 17 armoured combat vehicles, 11 artillery systems and 5 tanks over the past day alone.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 14 March 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• 427,840 (+970) military personnel;
• 6,757 (+5) tanks;
• 12,938 (+17) armoured combat vehicles;
• 10,565 (+11) artillery systems;
• 1,017 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 717 (+2) air defence systems;
• 347 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
• 325 (+0) helicopters;
• 8,220 (+15)  strategic and tactical UAVs;
• 1,920 (+1) cruise missiles;
• 26 (+0) ships and boats;
• 1 (+0) submarines;
• 13,959 (+27) vehicles and tankers;
• 1,708 (+9) special vehicles and other equipment.
