Russia lost a regiment's worth of soldiers on Avdiivka front but continues to press on

The situation on the Avdiivka front remains extremely difficult. Although Ukrainian forces have inflicted critical damage on Russian forces, the latter still outnumber the former and are continuing to press on.

Quote: "Update. After withdrawing from Avdiivka and liberating the town of Krasnohorivka, the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade continued to inflict damage on enemy forces on the Avdiivka front.

As of now, the brigade’s units have killed or wounded 500 [Russian soldiers] and damaged or destroyed up to 20 [Russian] armoured vehicles and tanks, as well as anti-aircraft missile systems, artillery systems, self-propelled artillery systems, and a large number of Russian vehicles.

In terms of the number of injured or killed personnel, [Russian forces] lost a regiment’s worth of soldiers, but numerically superior Russian armed forces are not relenting. The situation remains extremely difficult."

Details: The 3rd Separate Assault Brigade stressed that although the situation on the Avdiivka front remains difficult, Ukrainian forces continue to kill and injure Russian infantry troops, repel assaults, and prevent Russian occupation forces from breaking through the Ukrainian defences.
