Russia claims massive drone attack on multiple regions

The Russian Defence Ministry claimed that during the night of 9 February, it allegedly intercepted and destroyed 19 Ukrainian drones in four Russian regions and over the Black Sea.

Details: Reportedly, the drones were allegedly destroyed over the territories of the Kursk (2), Bryansk (5), and Oryol (4) oblasts, Krasnodar Krai (2), and the Black Sea (6). 

The governor of the Oryol Oblast said that the drones purportedly attacked fuel and energy infrastructure targets in this region, but they were allegedly destroyed. 

Klychkov stated that there were no casualties, but at the same time, he added that "law enforcement is taking necessary measures to ensure safety."

• Earlier, it was reported that the Ilsky oil refinery in the Seversky district of the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation, was allegedly on fire due to a drone attack.
