Ukraine's General Staff reports on situation in Orlivka, Berdychiv, Robotyne and other settlements

Ukrainian defenders have repelled over 50 Russian attacks on the Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Zaporizhzhia and other fronts over the past 24 hours.

Details: Ukrainian and Russian forces clashed 73 times over the past 24 hours.

Ukrainian aircraft struck 10 clusters of Russian military personnel.

Units of the Ukrainian Air Force also shot down three Su-34 fighter-bombers.

Ukraine's Rocket Forces and Artillery struck two clusters of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment, three BM-21 Grad multiple-launch rocket systems, one ammunition storage point, and one electronic warfare system belonging to the Russians.

Russian forces launched a total of two missile strikes and 79 airstrikes and attacked the Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas 90 times with multiple-launch rocket systems.

On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the operational situation remains unchanged. There are no signs of offensive groups being formed. Certain units of the Belarusian Armed Forces are performing tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.

On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the Russians are maintaining a military presence in the border areas, conducting sabotage activities, launching bombardments of borderline settlements, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border in Russia’s Belgorod Oblast. Russian troops conducted airstrikes near the settlements of Bolohivka and Mytrofanivka (Kharkiv Oblast).

Russian artillery and mortars targeted over 30 settlements, including Hirsk and Karpovychi (Chernihiv Oblast), Nova Huta, Seredyna-Buda, Druzhba, Fotovyzh and Vorozhba (Sumy Oblast), and Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka and Berestove (Kharkiv Oblast).

On the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled two Russian attacks near the settlements of Petropavlivka and Tabaivka (Kharkiv region), where the Russian army attempted to drive Ukrainian troops from their positions. The Russians launched an airstrike near the village of Nadiia (Luhansk Oblast). Russian artillery and mortars targeted over 10 settlements, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka and Berestove (Kharkiv Oblast).

On the Lyman front, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 11 Russian attacks near the settlements of Terny and Yampolivka (Donetsk Oblast) and Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast), where the Russian army, supported by aircraft, attempted to break through Ukrainian defences. Russian artillery and mortars affected more than 10 localities, including Nevske and Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast) and Terny, Torske, Serebrianka, Verkhnokamianske, Spirne and Rozdolivka (Donetsk Oblast).

On the Bakhmut front, Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled two Russian attacks near the settlements of Ivanivske and Klishchiivka (Donetsk Oblast), where the Russians sought to improve their tactical position. Russian forces launched airstrikes near the settlements of Viroliubivka and Mykolaivka (Donetsk Oblast). About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Vasiukivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Andriivka and New-York (Donetsk Oblast).

On the Avdiivka front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 22 Russian attacks near the settlements of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske and Nevelske (Donetsk Oblast). The Russians delivered airstrikes near the settlements of Oleksandropil, Novooleksandrivka, Ocheretyne, Novobakhmutivka, Soloviove and Semenivka (Donetsk Oblast). About 20 populated areas came under Russian artillery and mortar fire, including Ocheretyne, Vovche, Berdychi, Stepove and Orlivka (Donetsk Oblast).

On the Novopavlivka front, Ukrainian Defence Forces are continuing to hold back the Russians near the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk Oblast), where the Russian army, supported by aircraft, sought to break through Ukrainian defences 22 times. The Russians also delivered airstrikes near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Vodiane, Urozhaine and Staromaiorske (Donetsk Oblast) and Novodarivka (Zaporizhzhia Oblast). Russian artillery and mortar fire hit over 20 settlements, including Maksymilianivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka, Blahodatne, Staromaiorske and Rivnopil (Donetsk Oblast).

On the Orikhiv front, Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled a Russian attack near the settlement of Robotyne (Zaporizhzhya Oblast). Russian troops launched airstrikes near the settlements of Levadne, Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, Novodanylivka and Yurkivka (Zaporizhzhia Oblast). About 20 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire, including Levadne, Poltavka, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka and Stepove (Zaporizhzhia Oblast).

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa Operational Strategic Group on the Kherson front, the Russian army has persisted in its attempts to drive Ukrainian troops from their footholds on the Dnipro River's left bank. Russian forces made four attempts to storm Ukrainian positions over the past 24 hours. About 10 populated areas came under artillery and mortar fire. These include the city of Kherson and the settlements of Mykhailivka, Beryslav, Poniativka and Inhulets (Kherson Oblast).
