I would not disclose the details but we do realise this. And Russia understands what we will do with these weapons.
We have been working on facilitating the supplies of long-range armament for a long time.
…I am pleased by the recent response of our partners concerning this armament."

Background:
- As of October 2023, according to the New York Times, the US has supplied Ukraine with about 20 ATACMS long-range missiles.
- The White House noted that it had provided Ukraine with the ATACMS missiles type able to strike a target at a distance of up to 165 km.
- The Chamber of Representatives of the US went on a break until the end of February without considering the package bill with the funding for the aid for Ukraine, already approved by the Senate.
- The Chamber of Representatives presented the bill with less aid for Ukraine than the amount suggested by Joe Biden.
- A week ago, the Biden administration reported that it was considering the possibility of supplying Ukraine with the ATACMS long-range missiles for the strikes on Russia-occupied Crimea. The missiles might be included in the first aid packages after the final approval of the funding for the support for Ukraine.
