Air defence downs Russian Kh-59 missile near Odesa – photo
The Russians launched a Russian Kh-59 guided air-to-surface missile on the city of Odesa from tactical aircraft manoeuvring over the Black Sea. The air defence system successfully destroyed the air target.

Details: Odesa Oblast Military Administration reported that an air-raid warning was issued in the oblast at 14:26.
Operational Command Pivden (South) said that the air defence system intercepted a Russian missile on its approach from the sea to the city.
Wreckage from the intercepted missile damaged civilian infrastructure, including an uninhabited newly constructed building and an apartment building in the coastal area. Fortunately, there were no casualties. All relevant services are currently on-site.
Law enforcement officials are documenting the aftermath of another crime committed by Russian individuals.
