President's former adviser spotted in Monaco – video

Oleksii Arestovych, a former out-of-staff adviser to the head of the President’s Office and outspoken blogger, was spotted in Monaco.

Details: In the video, Arestovych is seen noticing that he is being filmed. At first, he makes the victory sign with his hand. Then he attempts to warn the cameraman that he could face criminal prosecution for filming.

Judging by the surroundings, the video was filmed near the Monte Carlo Casino.

Background:

• On 1 February, the anti-corruption journalism centre NGL.media reported that Arestovych had left Ukraine following a letter from the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and was now in New York, USA.
• Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence denied that Arestovych left the country following a letter from the Intelligence Directorate.
