Ukrainian and Russian forces clash 84 times, mostly on Marinka front
A total of 84 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defence Forces and the occupying Russian army took place over the past 24 hours, with the largest number of skirmishes – 35 – on the Marinka front.

Details: There were 84 combat engagements over the past 24 hours.
The Russians launched a total of 5 missile strikes and 113 airstrikes, and attacked Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas 135 times with multiple launch rocket systems.
The Russian army used 23 Shahed-136/131 loitering munitions to attack Ukraine overnight. Ukrainian air defence forces destroyed 16 of them.
Russian airstrikes targeted the following settlements: Vyimka, Klishchiivka, New York, Oleksandropil, Avdiivka, Lastochkyne, Novokalynove, Kostiantynivka, Novomykhailivka, Paraskoviivka, and Staromaiorske (Donetsk Oblast); Novodarivka, Huliaipole, and Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia Oblast), and Krupytsia, Krynky and Beryslav (Kherson Oblast)
Over 110 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts came under Russian artillery fire.
In the area of responsibility of the Pivnich (North) Operational Strategic Group on the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the Russians are maintaining their military presence in the border areas, conducting active sabotage activities and increasing the density of minefields along the state border in Russia’s Belgorod Oblast.
In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational Strategic Group on the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled two Russian attacks near the settlements of Synkivka and Tabaivka (Kharkiv Oblast).
On the Lyman front, Ukrainian troops repelled three Russian attacks near the settlements of Terny and north of Vesele (Donetsk Oblast).
On the Bakhmut front, Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled 7 Russian attacks near the settlements of Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Andriivka and Klishchiivka (Donetsk Oblast).
In the area of responsibility of the Tavriia Operational Strategic Group on the Avdiivka front, Ukrainian defenders are continuing to hold back the Russians, who are making numerous attempts to encircle the town of Avdiivka. The Ukrainian army repelled 22 Russian attacks in the vicinity of Avdiivka and seven more near the settlements of Tonenke and Nevelske (Donetsk Oblast) over the past 24 hours.
On the Marinka front, Ukrainian troops are continuing to hold back the Russians near the settlements of Heorhiivka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk Oblast), where 35 attacks were repelled.
On the Novopavlivka front, Ukrainian defenders repelled a Russian attack south of Prechystivka (Donetsk Oblast).
On the Zaporizhzhia front, Ukrainian troops repelled a Russian attack west of the settlement of Novopokrovka (Zaporizhzhia Oblast).
In the area of responsibility of the Odesa Operational Strategic Group on the Kherson front, Ukrainian forces are continuing to hold their positions and repel the attacks of the Russian occupying forces. The Russians mounted two unsuccessful assault operations over the past 24 hours.
At the same time, Ukraine's Air Force struck 13 clusters of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment. Ukrainian air defence forces destroyed seven reconnaissance UAVs.
In addition, Ukraine's Rocket Forces struck seven clusters of Russian military personnel, one artillery unit and one air defence system belonging to the Russians.
