Thermal power plant stops producing electricity due to Russian attack

One of the thermal power plants (TPPs) belonging to DTEK, the largest private investor in Ukraine's energy sector, has been damaged by a Russian attack on the night of 12-13 February.

Details: DTEK noted that the attack severely damaged the company's equipment. The plant stopped producing electricity.

The company added that power engineers commenced repairs and equipment recovery once the bombardment stopped.
