Russian Defence Ministry says 4 missiles downed over occupied Crimea

The Russian Ministry of Defence reported that on the night of 5-6 January, their air defence network shot down four air-launched missiles over occupied Crimea.

Quote: "On 6 January at about 00:30 Moscow time, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack using aircraft-guided missiles on targets in the Russian Federation was stopped.

Four Ukrainian missiles were intercepted and destroyed over the Crimean peninsula by air defence [while the troops were] on combat duty."

Earlier: On the evening of 5 January, local Telegram channels reported explosions in temporarily occupied Crimea, as the Russians closed the Crimean bridge to traffic.
