Razvozhayev wrote that "several aerial targets were shot down": "A house on Hlukhova [Street – ed.] was hit by missile wreckage. According to early reports, there is one casualty. Some pieces from the aerial targets fell around Mostova Street, on the northern side, in the area of the Monastyrske Highway and Fediukhin Heights. Emergency services are working at the scene."
Telegram channels are reporting that one Ukrainian missile was apparently shot down, while a second hit a military unit (communications command post) at Yukharina Balka in Sevastopol. According to eyewitnesses, ambulances and firefighters are working at the scene.
The Russian Defence Ministry claims that at around 17:20 Moscow time, "an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack using aircraft-guided missiles on [infrastructure] facilities" in Crimea was thwarted. Russian officials allege that 10 missiles were shot down over the peninsula.
Explosions have also been reported in Yevpatoriia. Witnesses said they heard and saw a missile before the explosion.
The Telegram channel Krymskyi Veter (Crimean Wind) is reporting, citing eyewitnesses, that an air defence military base was struck near Zatyshne, Saky District, which is close to Yevpatoriia. Ambulances are on their way there.
