Number of casualties in 2 January attack on Kharkiv increases, elderly woman dies in hospital
The number of people injured in the attack on Kharkiv's Shevchenkivskyi district on 2 January has risen to 63.
An elderly woman died in hospital after being injured, and a young woman with an acute injury sought medical attention after a Russian attack on the city of Kharkiv on 2 January.

Details: The Prosecutor's Office reported that a 23-year-old girl turned to paramedics with an acute injury (which appeared to be a concussion – ed.).
This brings the number of injured people in the Shevchenkivskyi district to 63.
Update: The Prosecutor’s Office added later that a 84-year-old wounded woman died in hospital. Thus, 2 women were killed in the Russian large-scale missile attack, and 62 more civilians were wounded.
Background: On the morning of 2 January, a missile attack was launched on Kharkiv, including the Shevchenkivskyi district. In the first hours after the attack, reports about more than 40 injured and 1 killed emerged.
