Russian cruise missile shot down over Dnipro
A missile threat warning was issued in Ukraine's southern oblasts on the afternoon of 28 January. Later, reports emerged that a missile had been shot down over Dnipro.

Details: A missile threat warning was issued in Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts.
The Ukrainian military reported the threat of missile launches from the Sea of Azov.
Updated: Later, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that a Russian missile was heading towards Kirovohrad Oblast but changed direction and was flying towards the city of Dnipro.
A few minutes later, reports of explosions in Dnipro emerged in the media.
Later, the Ukrainian military reported that a Russian Kh-59 guided missile had been destroyed by a unit of Air Command Skhid in the Dnipro district (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast).
