Russians become more active on Marinka front – General Staff

Over the past day, the Russian occupiers attacked on seven fronts, with the greatest activity on the Avdiivka and Marinka fronts. In total, 56 clashes occurred at the contact line during the day, with the Russians inflicting 48 missile strikes, 112 air strikes and 73 multiple-launch rocket system strikes upon Ukrainian troops and settlements.

Quote from the General Staff: "The Russian terrorist attacks have unfortunately resulted in the death and wounding of civilians, including children. More than 200 civil infrastructure facilities in Kyiv and [the surrounding] Kyiv Oblast, Kharkiv, and Pavlohrad in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast were destroyed or damaged."

Details: In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational Strategic Group, on the Kupiansk front, the Defenders repelled a Russian attack near Synkivka (Kharkiv Oblast).

On the Lyman front, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 4 Russian attacks in Yampolivka, Torske (Donetsk Oblast) and two more attacks near Bilohorivka, Serberianka Forest (Luhansk Oblast).

On the Bakhmut front, the defence forces repelled three Russian attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanivske and Klishchiivka (Donetsk Oblast).

In the area of responsibility of the Tavria Operational Strategic Group on the Avdiivka front, Ukrainian defenders continue to thwart Russian attempts to encircle the town of Avdiivka.  Over the course of the past day, the defence forces repelled 5 Russian attacks in the areas of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, and Avdiivka and 11 more attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske (Donetsk Oblast).

On the Marinka front, the Defence Forces are continuing to hold back the Russians near Heorhiivka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk Oblast), where they repelled 16 attacks.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 4 Russian attacks south of Chervone, and west of Verbove and Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia Oblast).

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa Operational Strategic Group on the Kherson front, the Defence Forces are continuing to undertake operations to expand their foothold. Despite significant losses, the Russians haven’t given up their attempts to drive Ukrainian units out of their positions. Over the course of the past 24 hours, Russia carried out seven unsuccessful assaults on the positions of Ukrainian troops.

Quote from the General Staff: "Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces are undertaking active operations to inflict personnel and equipment losses upon the Russian forces and to wear the Russians out along the entire contact line."

Over the course of the day, Ukrainian aircraft carried out airstrikes on 10 clusters of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment, two anti-aircraft missile systems and one enemy command post. Also, the Ukrainian Air Defence Forces destroyed 15 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles, 5 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, and 2 Kh-59 air-launched cruise missiles.

Units from the Ukrainian Rocket and Artillery Forces struck one cluster of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment, two air defence systems, nine artillery systems and one electronic warfare station.
