Firefighters deal with aftermath of evening Russian strikes on Kharkiv – photo

Residential buildings, shops and an educational institution have been damaged and two fires over an area of 15 square metres broke out as a result of Russian strikes on the central part of the city of Kharkiv on the evening of 23 January.

Details: A total of 6 firefighting appliances and 40 firefighters were working at the scene.

As of the morning of 24 January, the aftermath of the Russian attack has been dealt with.
The State Emergency Service employees evacuated 16 people, including 2 children. The State Emergency Service psychologists provided support to local residents.
Early reports indicate that at least nine people were injured.
